As a maternity photographer Denver CO with more than 13 years of experience, I know the best locations, the most flattering light, and how to guide you in a natural way so you feel comfortable, confident, and truly yourself in front of the camera.
I believe that your maternity photos must capture the feelings of this moment forever. It is a special moment of your life that deserves to be captured in a natural and elegant way. Selecting the right photographer for it is the first step to bring your maternity photo vision to life.
I met Maggie in the most spontaneous way—at a party.
It wasn’t planned, it wasn’t scheduled, and that’s often how the most meaningful connections begin. I remember noticing her immediately. She had this calm, radiant energy, and of course, her beautiful belly. There was something so powerful and graceful in the way she carried her pregnancy.
Without overthinking it, I approached her and told her how beautiful that moment of her life was. I suggested a maternity photo session right there, simply because I felt inspired. It wasn’t a sales pitch—it was a genuine reaction.
She said yes without hesitation.
That immediate trust is something I never take for granted. It creates the foundation for everything that comes after.
When we started organizing the session, I wanted everything to feel effortless and meaningful.
Maggie and Scott were both very excited, and I could already feel how connected they were as a couple. For their session, I chose one of my favorite locations: Cathedral Park, located on Flagstaff Mountain, just above Boulder.
This location is truly special. It offers breathtaking views without requiring long or difficult walks, which is something I always consider—especially for maternity sessions. Comfort is essential.
There are so many beautiful spots there: open mountain views, soft textures, and a peaceful atmosphere that allows you to slow down and simply enjoy the moment.
For this session, Maggie wore one of her dresses color blue and I also provided one of the dresses from my maternity wardrobe—a pink gown.
This is one of the services I love offering. I carefully select pieces that are elegant, timeless, and designed to enhance the natural beauty of pregnancy.
When Maggie wore the pink dress, everything came together perfectly. The color was delicate and feminine, and the fabric moved beautifully with the wind. It added softness to the images while still allowing her strength and presence to shine.

From the moment we started, everything felt natural.
Maggie and Scott were relaxed, happy, and fully present. That makes such a difference. I never force poses—instead, I guide gently and let moments unfold.
Maggie moved with ease. Sometimes she was playful, lightly twirling in her dress. Other times she was still and introspective, holding her belly and simply feeling the moment.
Scott stayed close to her, always connected, always supportive. The way he looked at her said everything.
These are the moments I look for—the real ones.
The light that evening was soft and warm, exactly what I love to work with.
At Cathedral Park, the scenery does so much of the work for you. The mountains, the open sky, the quiet atmosphere—it all adds depth and emotion to the images.
To capture this session, I used two lenses:
I love combining these perspectives. One brings you closer emotionally, the other shows the bigger picture—the environment, the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
Every maternity session is unique, but some stay with me longer.
This one was special because everything felt so genuine. There was no pressure, no expectations—just Maggie and Scott fully embracing this moment in their lives.
And that’s what maternity photography is about for me.
It’s about capturing beauty, kindness, and the quiet power of this stage of life.
Pregnancy is a moment that passes quickly, even if it doesn’t always feel that way.
When I look at Maggie’s photos, I see more than just images. I see a story—a moment of anticipation, love, and transformation.
That’s why I do what I do.
If you are expecting and thinking about capturing this moment, I want you to know that you don’t need to be perfect.
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do.
You just need to show up as you are.
I will guide you through everything—from location to wardrobe to natural direction during the session—so you can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience.

If you would like to see more of my work, I invite you to explore my maternity portfolio.
And if you feel connected to my style and vision, I would love to hear from you. Together, we can create something meaningful, elegant, and truly yours.

Hi, I’m Laura.
As a Maternity Photographer Denver CO, my journey into photography began with a simple curiosity that quickly grew into a lifelong passion. Before becoming a photographer, I worked in hospital administration in Italy, dreaming of a more creative career where I could connect with people and tell meaningful stories.
Everything changed when I enrolled in a photography class. There, I met other photographers who inspired me to learn more, and I started assisting experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience. What began as a hobby soon became my full-time career.
I spent several years photographing weddings throughout Italy and Europe, documenting beautiful celebrations in some of the most prestigious venues and destinations. After moving to Colorado, my work naturally evolved toward portrait, maternity, and family photography. When I became a mother in 2021, maternity photography took on an even deeper meaning. Experiencing pregnancy and motherhood myself gave me a new appreciation for the beauty, strength, and emotions that come with this chapter of life.
My style is natural, elegant, and authentic. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forced smiles. Instead, I gently guide you throughout the session so you can feel comfortable, confident, and truly yourself. I work primarily with natural light to create soft, timeless images that focus on genuine connection and emotion.
When I’m not behind the camera, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, traveling with my husband and daughter, discovering beautiful restaurants, and enjoying slow mornings with a cappuccino. I love sunsets, the ocean, and an Aperol Spritz at the end of the day. Italy will always be home in my heart, and I’m definitely a cat lover.
For me, photography is about preserving emotions in an honest and meaningful way—so years from now, you can remember not only how this season of life looked, but exactly how it felt.
