As we transition into the colder months, I am always grateful for the beautiful colors and golden light that autumn brings to every maternity photoshoot. Fall is one of my favorite seasons for photography, creating warm and vibrant backdrops that make each session feel extra special.
Of course, Colorado weather can be unpredictable, even during the fall! We had to reschedule this maternity photoshootbecause of strong winds, but it was absolutely worth the wait. When I finally met Jenise and her lovely family, everything came together perfectly. The weather was beautiful, the light was soft and flattering, and we were able to capture meaningful moments as they celebrated the upcoming arrival of their newest family member.
My amazing assistant, Brittney, joined me during this maternity photoshoot and captured a few behind-the-scenes moments throughout the session. It is always fun to see the experience from a different perspective and get a glimpse of everything that happens beyond the final images.
As winter approaches, I look forward to the unique opportunities that the season brings for a maternity photoshoot. Snow-covered landscapes, especially here in the Colorado Rockies, create a magical and timeless setting that feels completely different from any other time of year. The soft light, mountain views, and peaceful atmosphere can transform a maternity session into something truly unforgettable.

Hi, I’m Laura, a maternity and family photographer with more than 10 years of experience capturing meaningful moments for families. My photography journey began in Italy in 2012, where I photographed weddings and portraits before moving to Colorado in 2019. Since becoming a mother myself in 2021, maternity photography has become even more meaningful to me. I understand firsthand how quickly this season passes and how important it is to preserve these memories before your little one arrives.
My style is natural, timeless, and focused on genuine connection. I love creating photographs that feel elegant and authentic while helping my clients feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
When I’m not photographing families, you can usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, cooking Italian recipes, reading, exploring beautiful restaurants, or enjoying a slow morning with a cappuccino. I love beautiful sunsets, discovering new places, and finding inspiration in art, fashion, and everyday life.
