The View at Madge Gulch is one of those venues that feels intimate, elegant, and surrounded by nature, perfect for couples who want a meaningful and personal wedding day.
Hi, I’m Laura, a wedding photographer based in Colorado with over 14 years of experience. I love capturing real moments in a natural and timeless way, focusing on emotions and connection more than anything else.
Today I’m sharing Hannah and Caleb’s beautiful wedding. Rain was in the forecast, and like many couples, they were a little worried, but as the day unfolded, it became clear that what truly mattered had nothing to do with the weather.
The day began at the Main House, where Hannah got ready surrounded by her closest people. There were quiet, emotional moments, like when she caught a glimpse of Caleb through the window, and later when she shared a first look with her dad and brothers on the balcony. There wasn’t a dry eye.

Before the ceremony, Hannah and Caleb shared a private first touch by the White Barn. The air was cold, and the sky uncertain, but that moment felt calm and intimate, just the two of them, holding onto what the day was really about.
As guests arrived and took their seats, a light rain started to fall. Caleb became emotional the moment he saw Hannah walking down the aisle, and she felt it too. The ceremony unfolded beautifully, with just a few drops of rain here and there, nothing that could take away from such a meaningful exchange.

After the ceremony, Hannah and Caleb exchange their vows privately on the balcony at the Main House and after took a quiet moment for themselves, while guests made their way to the White Barn for cocktail hour, staying warm from the chilly weather outside. We then captured family and group photos, followed by a few couple portraits outdoors, embracing the soft light and atmosphere that only a day like this can bring.
The celebration continued inside with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and dancing. By then, the rain had fully arrived, but it only made everything feel even more intimate and cozy inside.
I photographed the day using my 24–70mm Sigma lens, allowing me to move naturally between wide scenes and close, emotional moments. I also worked with a second photographer. This allowed us to capture not only Hannah and Caleb’s experience, but also the reactions, details, and in-between moments happening all around them.
Because of that, nothing is missed. A wedding day is made of many perspectives, not just one, and this is something I truly value.
The night ended with a joyful exit at 10 pm, as Hannah and Caleb ran out into the rain and into their next chapter together.
If you’re planning your wedding at The View at Madge Gulch and you’re looking for a photographer who will capture your day in a natural and timeless way, I’d love to hear from you.

Hi, I’m Laura, the photographer behind these images. I’m a wedding photographer based in Colorado, and I specialize in capturing natural, elegant, and timeless moments—just like this beautiful day at The View at Madge Gulch.
I began my journey in Italy, where I started photographing weddings and had the opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious wedding photography studios in Milan. There, I documented luxury weddings and high-profile clients, learning the importance of refined composition, the beauty of natural light, and how to capture both meaningful moments and the smallest details with intention.
In 2019, I moved to Colorado and opened my own business, dedicating my time between weddings and portrait sessions. Whether I’m photographing a wedding day or a quiet portrait session, my approach remains the same—creating images that feel honest, effortless, and timeless, with the same level of care and attention to every moment.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, and appreciating the simple, everyday moments that often inspire the way I see and capture life.
