Once your session is booked, I will reach out to learn more about you and the experience you envision, whether it is a romantic beach session, an elegant hotel setting, the intimacy of your home, or another meaningful location. I will help you refine the styling by sharing a preparation guide and a personalized mood board. Together, we will blend your ideas with my creative vision to create something that feels beautiful and uniquely yours. Outdoor sessions are typically scheduled at sunrise or sunset, when the light is soft and beautifully illuminates the skin.
During the session, I will offer gentle direction without forcing unnatural poses. I will encourage you to relax, play, move, and hold each other as though I were not there, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally. I will also create classic portraits of you looking at the camera. My approach blends cinematic storytelling, editorial imagery, and timeless portraiture, and I am always open to experimenting with new ideas and creative poses.
Every selected photograph will be personally edited by me and delivered within two weeks, depending on my current workload. You will receive your images through a private online gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. Fine-art prints, albums, and wall art will also be available to order directly through your gallery.
A Few Things You May Be Wondering
You do not need to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of the camera to have beautiful engagement photographs.
Most couples tell me they feel a little nervous at first, and that is completely normal.
I will guide you throughout the session while giving you the freedom to move, laugh, and simply enjoy being together.
Not sure what to wear or where to go? I will help you choose outfits and a setting that complement your style and the feeling you want for your photographs. You are welcome to bring a second outfit, include your pet, or incorporate something meaningful to your relationship.
And if the weather does not cooperate, we will work together to find the best alternative. All you really need to do is arrive ready to spend some time together. I will take care of the rest.

As a San Diego engagement photographer, I bring an Italian aesthetic and more than a decade of experience into every session. I began my photography journey in Italy in 2012, photographing weddings and portraits with a focus on emotion, natural light, and timeless beauty. That European influence still shapes my work today, creating images that feel elegant, refined, and authentic.
I love engagement sessions because they allow couples to slow down, be present, and celebrate this exciting chapter before the wedding day. My approach blends the emotion and movement of cinematic storytelling with refined editorial imagery and timeless portraits. I want you to feel comfortable, seen, and completely yourselves while we create photographs that genuinely reflect your relationship.
