About Laura
As a San Diego newborn photographer, I bring an Italian aesthetic and more than a decade of experience into every session. My photography journey began in Italy in 2012, when I left a career in hospital administration to pursue something more creative and meaningful. What started with curiosity quickly became a passion and eventually my full-time profession.
Over the years, I had the opportunity to photograph weddings and portraits across Italy and Europe, working in beautiful locations and documenting meaningful moments for families from different cultures and backgrounds. Those experiences shaped my artistic eye and the way I see light, emotion, and human connection. Today, that European influence still inspires my work, creating newborn portraits that feel timeless, soft, and emotional.
Becoming a mother in 2021 completely changed the way I experience newborn photography. Since the arrival of my daughter, these sessions have taken on a much deeper meaning for me. I understand in a different way how quickly those first days pass, how emotional and transformative the postpartum period can feel, and how important it is to preserve the little details that so easily fade with time.
As a San Diego newborn photographer, my goal is not only to create beautiful images, but also to document the feeling of this season of life with honesty and sensitivity. The quiet cuddles, the tiny fingers, the way your baby fits perfectly in your arms, the love and tenderness inside your home — these are the moments that deserve to be remembered forever.
The families who are drawn to my work often appreciate timeless imagery, genuine emotion, and an elegant yet natural aesthetic inspired by art, fashion, cinema, and everyday beauty. When I’m not photographing families in San Diego and beyond, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, discovering beautiful coffee shops, enjoying slow mornings with a cappuccino, and finding inspiration in the simple and meaningful moments of everyday life.
