As a San Diego photographer, photography for me is much more than just taking beautiful photos. It is a way to connect with people, tell stories, and preserve memories with honesty and emotion.

My journey started in a completely different world. Before photography, I was working in hospital administration in Italy. My days felt repetitive, and deep inside I was dreaming about a more creative life, something that would allow me to work with people during happy and meaningful moments instead of sitting behind a desk all day.

Everything changed when I decided to follow a photography class out of pure curiosity. There, I met photographers who inspired me and introduced me to the real world of photography. I started in the most humble way possible, assisting photographers for free just to learn on the field, carry equipment, observe, and understand how everything worked during weddings and events. Step by step, photography slowly became part of my life.

After a few years, I had the incredible opportunity to work with one of the most prestigious wedding photography studios in Milan. That moment changed everything and photography became my full-time career. For four unforgettable years, I photographed luxury weddings and events in some of the most beautiful and exclusive locations in Italy and abroad. I had the honor to work with Italian celebrities, renowned wedding planners, talented vendors, and wonderful couples from all over the world.

My work brought me to photograph weddings in Italy, Germany, England, Hungary, Switzerland, the Maldives, and the United States. During those years, I experienced many different cultures and traditions. I witnessed Christian ceremonies in historic churches, Jewish weddings with the breaking of the glass, Orthodox ceremonies, tea ceremonies, civil weddings, first looks, first touches, private vows, sand ceremonies, and celebrations filled with unique personal traditions. Every wedding taught me something new about people, emotions, and connection.

Being a wedding photographer taught me how to handle every kind of situation with calmness and sensitivity. Weddings move fast and moments happen only once. You learn to anticipate emotions, notice small details, and work beautifully under pressure. One of the most important things I learned over the years is how to truly see and use natural light. Natural light photography is not just technical knowledge, it is instinct, observation, and experience. Light creates atmosphere, depth, softness, and emotion in an image. Creating that feeling naturally is something I have spent years mastering and refining.

In 2019, my life changed again when I moved to Colorado after marrying my wonderful husband, Joaquin. He has always supported me and encouraged me to believe in myself and finally open my own photography business in 2020.

Moving to a new country was exciting, but also challenging. I had to restart almost from the beginning in a different culture and language. Sometimes I still struggle to express myself fluently in English, and I know I have a strong Italian accent and make grammar mistakes here and there. But over time, I understood that the right clients see beyond that. They connect with my work, my eye, my sensitivity, and the way I capture light and emotion.
I am naturally a quiet, calm, and introverted person. I am not the type of photographer who acts like a salesperson or tries to overly convince people. I simply want my work to speak for itself. My goal is to create photographs that feel elegant, emotional, timeless, and true to you.

After moving to Colorado, I also started focusing more on portraits and discovered how much I loved bringing my wedding experience and artistic style into other types of photography. Today, I photograph maternity, family, senior, branding, and boudoir sessions, along with weddings, corporate events, and private events.

From 2026, I started serving the San Diego area, and I will be working there more and more in the coming years. California has always had a special place in our hearts, especially San Diego, a city that inspires me with its light, atmosphere, and relaxed beauty. My family and I will be living between Colorado and California, allowing me to continue serving clients in both states while also traveling for destination weddings and portrait sessions worldwide.
